From 20-24 June 2022, the International Old Catholic Bishops’ Conference (IBC) met in Bonn for a presence session. Among other things, the bishops developed a statement on the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification, exchanged views on marriage in the various churches and spoke about the situation in the Philippines. Personal exchange, which took place in presence for the first time since 2019, was also not neglected. You can find the full communiqué here.
